Why Farhove is free for realtors, forever

Most tools built for the loan officer / real estate agent relationship put the agent on some version of a paid seat, often subsidized or discounted by the loan officer they work with. We looked at that model and didn't build it, on purpose.

The problem with an LO-funded realtor seat

The moment a loan officer can fund, discount, or sponsor an agent's access to a tool, that access becomes a relationship lever. It doesn't have to be used that way to create the problem. The mere existence of the lever changes the incentives on both sides of every referral conversation. We'd rather not build the lever at all than trust everyone to never pull it.

So in Farhove, every realtor gets an identical free tier regardless of who they're connected to, and no loan officer can pay for, discount, or gift any part of another person's account. That's not a policy we're promising to follow. It's enforced in the product itself, the same way the two-lender-minimum rule is enforced in the lender shortlist component, not left to good judgment.

What "free, forever" actually includes

A realtor on the free tier gets full use of the core product: deal status with their connected loan officers, the shared buyer view, connecting and messaging with as many loan officers as they actually work with, and a working set of SMS/email volume and AI content tools. The only thing a paid tier (optional, $15.99 or $19.99/month) adds is more sending volume. It never adds more access, more visibility, or anything that changes who a realtor can connect with or how a deal is tracked.

The guardrail that matters most

No paid tier, on either side of Farhove, ever buys a directory listing, a ranking boost, or a referral advantage. That's not a feature we haven't built yet. It's one we've explicitly ruled out, in writing, as something we won't build without outside legal review first. A free realtor and a paying Pro-tier realtor are equally visible to every loan officer they're connected to. Always.
